Dr. Darren Honest, DVM
Dr. Honest graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph with honours in 1996. He worked as a small animal veterinarian in downtown Toronto before coming to the Bayview Village Veterinary Clinic in 2004. He frequently participates in continuing education seminars and workshops to ensure his patients are offered the most current, effective treatment modalities available. In his spare time, Dr. Honest enjoys many hobbies including golf, hockey, chess (which he rarely wins when playing his son) and watching his beautiful daughter dance. Even at home his pets (three rambunctious cats) keep him busy with veterinary care.
Dr. Samantha Marion, HBSc, DVM
Samantha has been a part of our team for over two decades, having started working here as a high school student in 2000. While completing her studies, she continued to work with us as an assistant and customer service representative until her graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010.
Following her graduation, Samantha moved to Calgary where she practiced as a veterinarian for five years before returning to Toronto to rejoin our team in 2015. As one of our veterinarians, her extensive experience in the field, combined with her passion for providing excellent care for animals, makes her an invaluable member of our team.
Samantha has a special interest in preventive medicine, nutrition, and dermatology, and she is always looking for ways to improve the health and well-being of our patients. Her dedication to her work is evident in the care and attention she provides to every animal she treats.
In her free time, Samantha likes to travel and explore new places. Her love of adventure and experiencing new things translates into her work, where she is always eager to learn and grow as a veterinary professional.

Beth Verge
Beth has worked in the veterinary field since 1990 as an Animal Care Assistant and Technician. In 1996, Beth graduated from Centennial College’s Computer Programmer/Analyst program. She joined Bayview Village Veterinary Clinic in 2005 as a receptionist and is now our office manager. Beth works hard behind the scenes ensuring the clinic runs perfectly from computer technology to inventory regulation. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Lawrence, family, and friends.

Karen Ho, RVT
Karen has been an integral part of our team since 2007, when she joined us after completing her internship. She graduated from the University of Guelph Ridgetown College and now serves as our Lead RVT.
Before joining our team, Karen gained valuable experience working at an emergency clinic. She has a particular interest in emergency and critical care medicine and dentistry and is always eager to learn and grow as a veterinary professional.
Karen is a compassionate and dedicated caregiver who enjoys interacting with our clients and their furry friends. Her kind and gentle nature makes her a favorite among our patients, and her passion for providing the best possible care for animals is evident in her work.
In her free time, Karen enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. Her love of adventure and experiencing new things translates into her work, where she is always looking for new ways to improve our services and provide the highest level of care for our patients.

Julia Moran, RVT
Julia is an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) who graduated from Seneca College in April of 2021 and registered as an RVT in August of the same year. She has been working with us as a full-time member of our team since completing her internship with us. Julia has two young cats named Victor and Waltor and enjoys spending her free time crocheting and gaming.
Julia has a passion for cytology, radiology, and puppy/kitten appointments, and loves being able to provide exceptional care to our clients' furry friends. She is a natural caregiver and finds great satisfaction in seeing her patients happy and healthy. As an RVT, Julia has the knowledge and expertise to provide a wide range of services to our clients, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that their pets receive the best care possible.

Adrianna Bertani, RVT
Adrianna is a dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Technician at our clinic, specializing in providing exceptional care to our furry friends. With a strong educational background and several years of hands-on experience, she consistently demonstrates her commitment to the well-being of animals.
Adrianna graduated with honors in 2023 from Seneca College Veterinary Technician program, where she acquired comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in animal care. Her time as a groomer for three years prior to becoming a Veterinary Technician has given her a deep understanding of animal behavior and grooming techniques, enhancing her ability to provide personalized care to each patient.
Her dedication to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine is evident in her continuous pursuit of excellence.
When she's not at work, Adrianna indulges in her love for outdoor activities. She finds solace in horseback riding, exploring nature through hiking adventures, and rejuvenating herself in the water by swimming. In her home, she shares her love with her beloved cat, Stella, and two adorable crested geckos named Picasso and Daisy.
Among the various aspects of her job, Adrianna finds dentistry particularly fascinating. Understanding the significance of oral health in animals, she is committed to providing exceptional dental care and promoting healthy smiles in her patients.

Carmen Yeung, HBSc, RVT
Carmen is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She joined the clinic in January 2015 as a veterinary technician co-op student and graduated from Seneca College in May 2015. Before becoming a veterinary technician she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at McMaster University. Carmen’s favourite parts of being an RVT include performing dental cleanings, meeting new puppies and kittens, and caring for hospitalized patients. Carmen has a small dog named Chewy and a cat named Nibbler. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Abbi Boone
Abbi started working with us in the fall of 2021 as an ACA and receptionist. Prior to joining our team, she worked at Big Al's where she discovered her passion for exotic animals, especially birds. Abbi has a 24-year-old bird at home named Rocket and a hamster named Tofu. She is also planning to get a puppy soon.
Abbi is currently working towards her goal of becoming an RVT and is pursuing additional education to achieve this. When not at work, Abbi enjoys crocheting and spending time with her pets. Her love for animals is evident in her work, and she is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure their well-being.

Virginia Cheung
Virginia joined our team in the winter of 2022 as a receptionist and has already proven to be a dedicated member of our team. She always strives to provide excellent customer service and make every client feel welcome and valued. Virginia has a young cat named Man Tao at home, and enjoys spending time with her furry friend when she's not at work.
In her free time, Virginia is a PC gamer and loves working out. She believes in the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying active. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and helping their pets.
We are excited to share that Virginia has been accepted into veterinary technician school this fall. She is eager to expand her knowledge and skills in the field and become a valuable member of our veterinary team. With her dedication and passion for animal care, we are confident that Virginia will excel in her studies and become an outstanding veterinary technician.

Kathy
Kathy joined our team in 2015 as an ACA and has been in the animal care industry for a long time. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work and is always willing to share her expertise with others. Kathy has a young, naughty cat named Una at home, who keeps her on her toes.
Kathy has a passion for horses and used to spend time caring for them. She believes that working with horses has taught her many valuable lessons about patience, discipline, and hard work, which she brings to her role as an ACA.
Kathy's years of experience in the field have given her a deep understanding of animal behavior and the importance of providing a nurturing and safe environment. She is always looking for ways to improve the care we provide to our clients' pets and is passionate about ensuring their well-being. Kathy is a dedicated member of our team and is known for her positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
Sharlene Su
Sharlene is an essential part of our team and has been since the beginning of 2022. As an ACA with a bubbly and easygoing personality, she always strives to go beyond to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the care we provide. Sharlene is known for her caring nature and has a soft spot for senior pets in particular. She adopted two sweet-natured bonded pair of senior chihuahuas, Reiko and Yuki last year.
Having lived in different countries while growing up, she developed a keen interest in languages and can speak multiple languages like English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese and a bit of Cantonese and French. This skillset has been very helpful with accommodating to the needs of our diverse client base and she always goes the extra mile to ensure our clients feel understood and comfortable in the clinic.
She enjoys writing and discovering stories and personalities of client's pets and creating posts on our social media to capture these precious moments of them in our clinic. In her free time, Sharlene loves to explore new places for food, travel, hiking, birdwatching and scuba diving. Her adventurous spirit and can-do attitude translate well into her role at work, where she's always game to take on new challenges and expand her knowledge to provide excellent care to all our furry patients.
We are proud to announce that Sharlene has been accepted into the Veterinary Technician Program at Seneca College, starting this September. Her dedication to her work, passion for animal welfare and eagerness to expand her knowledge make her an excellent candidate for this program. We are lucky to have her on our team and are very proud of all that she has accomplished.
