Call the clinic immediately with details about what and how much of the substance/food your pet has ingested. You may be given instructions over the phone or asked to come into the clinic. Please retain all the packaging and information about the substance s/he ingested and bring it with you to the clinic. If your pet has vomited, you may also be asked to bring in a sample of the vomit. If your pet is not showing any adverse symptoms, you can also call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435. You may be charged a consultation fee.
